Woman getting physiotherapyWe are delighted to welcome Angela Gibbons to our team. Angela holds a First Class Degree in Honors in Physiotherapist and offers her services at our Colton and Rothwell Clinics. Her services include:

  • Prevention and management of pain and injuries.
  • Complete Health checks including advice and management.
  • Pre and post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Management of health conditions
  • Improvement in strength, performance and flexibility
  • Improvement in circulation and lymphatic drainage
  • Female health management – pre and post-partum
  • Medical Acupuncture and Shockwave Therapy
  • Nutritional guidance

As a fully qualified and practicing Physiotherapist, Angela acknowledges her duty of care for each and every individual patient. The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) have specific standards that are set out in order to regulate and maintain effective practice that ensures safety always (HSPC 2025). The HCPC have a regulated set of standards that are published on their website, informing all practicing physiotherapists of the most current guidance and safe practice, in order to protect the general public.

Angela had this to say regarding her career, “I adapt professionally to use appropriate communication methods with every individual patient, to provide the best patient care possible. I fully adhere to the standards of practicing safely and effectively within my scope of practice and regularly engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and ongoing research in my professional role, keeping up to date with latest evidence-based practice.’

Alongside Physiotherapy, Angela also provides the following services: Sports massage Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching. I have enjoyed achieving many other certifications such as Shockwave Therapy, Medical Acupuncture

Angela explains that she took on her Physiotherapy studies later on in life, in part due to being a Mum of 5 children! For the past 20 years she has juggled family life and part time work. When she was in a position to further her career, she took the opportunity to accomplish her dream and train as a Physio. She now takes great satisfaction in working in a career that helps enhance the lives of others!
